… it started from a challenge to create some looped audio that could be re-used by others (over at Linux Musicians: linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=23699 ). Once that was done I created a short track, which was nearly released as it was, but then I went searching for a voice to overlay onto the track.
I also found (OO) - Animation Short Film (2017) by Osro: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHJprFGzH0k which seemed to be a great contrast, while on a similar theme, so I had a go at fitting the old and the new together.
So what started as an audio project ended up as a video project. I think the audio works well on it’s own, so it’s available as it’s own download here.

Now I’m going to show you three things and you’ve got to tell me what you do.
Number one
A pint of ...
Oh you seem to know what to do with that one alright.
Number two, a handkerchief.
(sneeze)
Excellent!
Remember coughs and sneezes spread diseases
Now, number three, a bowl of disinfectant.
Hey! You don’t drink it man,
don’t drink it man,
don’t drink it man,
don’t drink it man,
don’t drink it man…
… that’s for the soiled handkerchief which is full of germs.
You put the handkerchief into the disinfectant which kills the germs and so stops the spread of infection.
Now lets get this quite clear.
Don’t spread germs.
You sneeze into the handkerchief and then put the handkerchief into a bowl of disinfectant to kill the germs, not in with the families washing.
Got it?

CREDITS
Neither the film, or the finished track, would have been possible without people choosing to openly licence their material for re-use. So thank you for doing that.
Equally, all the software tools used to create the track and film were free and open source.
I discovered Lianne Hall via John Peel's Festive Fifty, and bought this album on mail order CD years ago. Lianne's voice is beautiful, the songs are simple and really well crafted, and I love them all The Argent Grub
Most recent release from Dean is another sonic guitar masterpiece. All his stuff is good. He records each track in a single take, and it's generally mind blowing. The Argent Grub
Not only does Death Hags have the confidence to cover Alice by the Sisters Of Mercy, but she pulls it off brilliantly - the rest of the tracks are also excellent. New ways of looking at old things. The Argent Grub
